Develop unique positioning and package design for Vitafusion’s new line of natural vitamins sold exclusively in niche health and natural retail locations.  

OVERVIEW:
The Vitafusion team enlisted Mota9 to help develop positionings and visuals for a new line of natural vitamins launched exclusively at Whole Foods and holistic vitamin shops.  As part of this process, Mota9 conducted extensive competitive and trend research inside and outside the natural category to find authentic insights that informed the development of key positionings and impactful visuals.  Using this competitive data, we were able to identify opportunities to develop a unique selling proposition centered around Vitafusion’s fruit tree story.  The story, package design, and accompanying visuals brought to life the connection between the consumer and the origin of the ingredients, driving home the action-oriented feeling that by purchasing Vitafusion Goodness, you are making a positive impact on your body and the planet.  The strategic positioning and the impactful visuals that resulted from this exploration differentiated Vitafusion from its competitors in the natural space and served as a key point of difference influencing the consumer and their purchasing decision at shelf.
